Ian Pearson

Ian Pearson has worked in a variety of roles in the tech and customer service industries since 2014. Ian began their career as a Mobile Instructor at iD Tech Camps in 2014, where they instructed and taught kids to program, develop, and design video games. In 2015, they joined Pixel Academy as a Junior Instructor, teaching children ages 7 - 14 video game coding and design programs for after-school and summer camps. Ian was then promoted to Location Manager and Director of Curriculum Development, where they managed the day-to-day operations of the location, wrote curriculum for after-school and camps, and trained instructors in coding and game engine knowledge. In 2019, they became the Assistant Center Director at NY Kids Club & NY Preschool, leading the lead generation process for preschool and enrichment class enrollment. In 2020, they were chosen to be the first Center Director at Code Ninjas, an after-school enrichment center focused on STEM learning for children ages 5 - 14 with a focus on coding video games. Ian then joined Coinbase in 2022 as a Customer Service Agent, assisting customers with inquiries on various subjects in crypto and payments. In 2023, they began their current role as Customer Service & Operations Associate at Capitalize.

Ian Pearson attended Becker College from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a degree in Computer Game Development and Programming. Ian also attended Sacred Heart. In April 2013, they obtained a ServSafe Alcohol Certified certification.
