Lee Morrison has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in multiple industries. Lee began their career in 1999 at Enbridge as an Operations Accountant before moving on to The Brick in 2003, where they served as Manager of Financial Reporting. In 2005, they joined EPCOR as a Manager of Financial Reporting. In 2009, Morrison joined Capital Power Corporation, starting as a Finance Manager before eventually becoming a Senior Finance Manager in various roles, including Commercial Reporting, Commercial Business Analysis, and Commodity Portfolio Reporting. Lee has demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and analysis, as well as managing and overseeing financial operations.
Lee Morrison has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Alberta. Additionally, they have completed the Certified Management Accountants of Alberta and the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) programs.
