Senior Engineer - Industrial Controls at Capital Power

Yichen Hao started their work experience as an Engineer - Industrial Controls at Capital Power in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Enbridge Pipelines in multiple roles. They started as a System Analyst - SCADA System Integration in February 2014 and then became an Engineer - SCADA Services Optimization from January to December 2021. From April 2018 to March 2023, Yichen served as an Engineer - SCADA System Integration and then as a Senior Engineer - SCADA System Integration until their departure. At University of Alberta, Yichen was a Research Assistant in the Advanced Wireless Communication & Signal Processing Lab from September 2011 to November 2013, where they worked on next-generation wireless network design and performance optimization.

Yichen Hao completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree from Tianjin University from the year 2007 to 2011. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta from 2011 to 2013.
