Adele Tharani

Adele Tharani serves as the Commercial Sustainability Manager, Global at Ørsted since June 2022, leading sustainability strategies focused on climate, nature, and community impact for renewable energy projects. Previously, Adele held the position of Social Sustainability Manager, Global, overseeing a people-positive renewable energy build-out across Europe, the US, and APAC. Prior to Ørsted, Adele worked at OMV as the Senior Expert in Community Relations & Sustainability, managing a substantial budget for community relations and social investments. Adele has also contributed to academia as a Research Fellow at WU, participated in high-level evaluations for the European Commission, and advised on corporate sustainability at UNDP. Adele's educational background includes studies at Harvard University, United Nations University-MERIT, and the University of Warwick.
