Craig Burns

Craig Burns is an experienced Risk Manager at Capitec Bank, focusing on Enterprise level Operational Risk since July 2014. Prior roles at Capitec included Manager of Credit Employer Intelligence, where leadership of a specialist team involved managing credit performance and developing employer risk strategies. Craig also held positions as Lead Specialist and Team Leader in Credit Employer Intelligence, as well as various analyst roles, enhancing the bank's credit portfolio through in-depth data analysis. Prior to his tenure at Capitec, Craig began his career as a Project Administrator at Curo Fund Services and co-founded the University of Stellenbosch Investments Society, serving as Chairman. Education includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Investments from Stellenbosch University and a Certificate in Core Banking from Cornerstone Performance Solutions.
