Gerald Sissing is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and operations leadership. Currently serving as Head DevOps and SRE at Capitec since June 2025, Gerald has a strong background in the financial services sector, having worked as CIB IB Technology Head at Absa Group from January 2012 to June 2025. Prior to this, Gerald gained valuable experience in trading systems support as well as trading floor support at Standard Bank Group from September 2006 to December 2011. Gerald completed high school education at Durban High School.
