Janis Dodgen-Walker

Janis Dodgen-Walker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in credit management and business banking. Currently serving as a Senior Credit Manager for both Capitec and Mercantile Bank South Africa since July 2021, Janis previously held various key positions at Absa Group from 2006 to 2022, including Credit Portfolio Manager and Credit Manager for both Commercial and Private Banking divisions. Janis's academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce from the University of Cape Town, an Advanced Diploma in Management (Finance) from the University of the Western Cape, and an Advanced Diploma in Credit from the Institute of Bankers South Africa, complemented by a Diploma in Management from the University of Pretoria.
