Nicholas Harris

Nicholas Harris is currently the Head of Financial Crime at Capitec Bank, overseeing the strategic management of forensic and anti-money laundering services since April 2022. Prior to this role, Nicholas served as the Head of CIB Fraud Risk Strategy at Absa Group from July 2020 to April 2022. Nicholas also held various positions at MTN, including General Manager of Forensic Services, where responsibility included strategic management of the Group Forensic Services Function, and Senior Manager of Fraud Risk Management, focused on developing and implementing fraud prevention strategies across 22 countries. Earlier experience includes management roles at KPMG Advisory and KPMG South Africa, where Nicholas established the Fraud Risk Management Function and managed audit engagements. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) (Honours) in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg.
