Sem Kalobo

Sem Kalobo is a Credit Intelligence Analyst at Capitec since February 2023, having previously contributed as a Data Scientist for a Masters Industry project at the same organization, focusing on developing a client-level credit risk scorecard. Prior experience includes serving as a Planning and Management Analyst at Sneaker Factory ZA, where recommendations for space utilization were created, and various roles as a Data Analyst at the Central University of Technology, Free State, the University of the Free State, and as a Teaching Assistant at Grey College. Sem Kalobo's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, an MSc in Statistical Science with specialization in Data Science from the University of the Western Cape, a BSc Honors in Risk Analysis from the University of the Free State, and a BSc majoring in Statistics and Accounting from the same institution.
