Edwin Choi has been involved in the finance industry since 2000, when they began as a Consultant for the Financial Services Industry at Accenture. In 2003, they moved to Merrill Lynch as a Director of Structured Credit Principal Investments. In 2008, they joined the Board of Directors of the NYU Mathematics in Finance Alumni Association. From 2009 to 2015, they were the Managing Member of Mariposa Capital Management, LLC, which offers institutional-strength, evidence-based investing to individuals and families. Since 2015, they have been the Co-Founder and CEO of Capitect, which enables advisors to deliver personalized portfolios unique to each client.
Edwin Choi obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley between 1997 and 2001. Edwin then went on to pursue a MS in Mathematics in Finance from New York University between 2002 and 2003. In addition, they have obtained certifications as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from the CFP Board of Standards and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
