Sebastian Schlecht has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2018, they co-founded Capmo, where they were responsible for the product, design, and engineering organization. Their role involved delivering high customer value and building the construction-site operating system for the mobile age. Prior to this, Sebastian worked as a visiting researcher at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from October 2016 to April 2017. Sebastian also worked as a freelance software engineer at heycater! from April 2016 to October 2016 and as a self-employed freelancer from April 2015 to October 2016. In these roles, they supported companies in developing software and websites on a full-stack scope and used frameworks and tools for rapid prototyping. Sebastian's work experience also includes a position as a working student in innovation management at BMW Group from October 2014 to July 2015, where they supported the front-end development team. Additionally, they managed a product development project as a student at Freeletics, investigating motivation levels of users within the Freeletics Fitness-Application. Finally, Sebastian worked as a working student in R&D Methodology at Infineon Technologies from March 2013 to November 2014, where they worked on Requirements-Engineering workflows and supported documentation unit for automotive microcontrollers.
Sebastian Schlecht attended the Technical University of Munich from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering & Information Technology. Following this, from 2014 to 2016, they were enrolled at the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM), earning an Honours Degree in Technology Management. Finally, from 2014 to 2017, Sebastian pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering & Information Technology once again at the Technical University of Munich.
