Capns Charters is an inshore, calm water fishing charter operating across the Gold Coast, Moreton Bay and Brisbane River.

Built on a passion for lure fishing, we focus on delivering more than just a day out on the water. Our charters are hands-on and experience-driven, giving guests the opportunity to learn, apply techniques in real time, and leave as more confident anglers.

Lure fishing isn’t always easy — and that’s exactly why we love it. From understanding tides and fish behaviour to working structure and perfecting technique, we guide our guests through the process while still creating a relaxed, enjoyable day on the water.

We cater to a range of groups including mates, families and corporate bookings, offering a unique way to connect, switch off and experience some of South East Queensland’s best fisheries.

Target species include trophy flathead, jewfish, threadfin salmon, snapper and barramundi.

As a catch and release charter, sustainability is at the core of what we do. We’re committed to responsible fishing practices, ensuring these fisheries can be enjoyed for years to come.
