We are one of Europe’s largest animal sanctuaries, home to 500+ rescued individuals living freely across 500 hectares of forests and pastures in Italy. Capra Libera Tutti transforms rescue into measurable social impact, at scale, through education, research and community engagement—turning care into cultural, social and environmental change.

Born in 2015 through the transformation of a former farm into a sanctuary, Capra Libera Tutti has grown into a living community supported by thousands of people worldwide, year after year. It is a place of encounter, culture and international education, where daily care and hospitality intertwine with events, school and university programs, awareness campaigns and volunteer projects, including collaborations with companies—opening new perspectives for human society.

At the heart of everything is one commitment: to welcome, heal and accompany each animal on their path of physical and emotional recovery, giving resonance to their unique stories. Here, care becomes a daily revolution—a political and transformative act shaped through education, research, art and community participation. Rooted in the mountains of central Italy and sustained by a global network of supporters, we go beyond the traditional idea of “animal sanctuary”: a laboratory of the future where animal liberation meets social and environmental justice, generating awareness, responsibility and collective imagination. We are building a centre for research, education and cultural experimentation dedicated to interspecies coexistence.
