Jack K. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jack began their career as a Software Engineer at LexisNexis from June 2003 to August 2006. Following that, they served as the Executive Director at Ashoka's Youth Venture - Seattle from January 2007 to May 2010, where they established and co-founded the organization's operations in the Puget Sound region and led various workshops to inspire young individuals to launch their own social ventures.

Next, Jack joined Microsoft as part of the Employee Engagement Team from May 2010 to February 2012. During their tenure, they coordinated and managed the company's "giving" component, raising a record-breaking $100.5 million in 2011. Jack also developed training programs and educational series to maximize the impact of the giving programs for non-profits and employees.

Starting in 2012, Jack worked as a Self-Employed Social Innovation Consultant until 2015, offering their expertise and guidance to various projects. In 2013, they became a Founding Partner at VentureScale, one of the first 50 Social Purpose Corporations in the state of Washington. VentureScale aimed to accelerate the growth of social ventures that address societal challenges.

Currently, Jack holds two roles at Capria Ventures. Jack has been serving as a Partner & Co-Founder since April 2015, leading a global investment firm that focuses on delivering superior returns in emerging markets. Additionally, they are an Advisor at Capria Ventures from April 2023 onwards. Through its network fund, Capria invests in early-stage to early-growth businesses, applying impact investment and ESG management practices to increase the resilience of its portfolio.
