Stuart Bernstein

Mr. Bernstein is the former Director of the $2B Emerging Manager Program at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (“TRS”) overseeing investments in early stage or middle market opportunities across real estate and private equity. The TRS Emerging Manager Program consisted of over 130 commitments. Mr. Bernstein was instrumental in the creation of the $6B private markets’ strategic partnership network at TRS. In addition, he served as Chief of Staff to the Chief Investment Officer. Under Bernstein’s leadership the TRS Emerging Manager Program has been recognized across the institutional industry, having received several awards and honors.
