Janice Alfredson

Janice Alfredson is an experienced healthcare professional with a background in nursing and clinical research. Janice worked as an Endoscopy Nurse at Mediclinic from July 2014 to June 2015, assisting surgeons with procedures and monitoring patients' comfort. Prior experience includes managing a level 2 trauma unit and implementing the South African Triage System. As a Certified Phlebotomist for the South African National Blood Service, Janice conducted donor assessments and ensured compliance with blood storage protocols. Currently, as a Clinical Research Nurse at CAPRISA, Janice is responsible for informed consent, data collection for clinical trials, and providing education and monitoring for participants. Janice holds a Nursing Diploma from Shekinah School of Nursing, completed between 2016 and 2018.
