Ron Sandell has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Ron began their career in 1993 as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Sanofi. Ron then moved to GlaxoSmithKline in 1996 as a Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Consultant. In 2001, they joined Amgen as a Professional Sales Representative for Injectable Biologics and was part of the initial 10 person pre-FDA approval launch team for the first ever interleukin-1 receptor antagonist, anakinra (Kineret). In 2003, they were recruited by Baxter International Inc. as an Account Executive for Sales of Medical Devices, where they managed hospital and private practice accounts and provided patient and caregiver level training of dialysis options. In 2015, they joined Miraca Life Sciences as Sales Director for the Gastroenterology Division, where they worked to integrate patient data in EHR/EMR settings within Gastroenterology practices and endoscopy centers. In 2016, they became Regional Sales Director for the East Region at CapsoVision, Inc., leading the growth of the company in the region and utilizing cutting-edge technologies to assist in streamlining workflows for practitioners and providers. Ron was also promoted to Regional Sales & Business Development Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region and Training & Development for Regional/National/International.
Ron Sandell received their Bachelor of Science in Human Resources with a focus in Consumer Economics / Business from the University of Delaware in 1990. Prior to that, they attended Great Valley High School from 1982 to 1986, where they completed a College Prep program. Ron also holds a Life Coaching certification from The Academy of Modern Applied Psych, which they obtained in February 2021.
