Mark Salcido

Mark Salcido has extensive experience in the mining and heavy equipment operation sectors, currently serving as an Outlying Processing Tech 4 at Capstone Copper since April 2022. Prior to this role, Mark worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Dixon Rock and Materials and held various positions at Capstone Mining, including Operations Support 2 focusing on heap leach operations and as a Supervisor managing a large crew in an open pit environment at Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. Mark's background also includes experience as a Dozer/Grader Operator at both Freeport-McMoRan and Round Mountain Gold Corp., where proficiency with over 20 different pieces of equipment was developed. Mark's education includes a diploma from Miami High School and courses at Eastern Arizona College.
