Chris Richter

Chris Richter is responsible for leading the company's corporate development and human resources activities. He was appointed Senior Vice President, Corporate Development in June 2022. Chris was previously the Chief Development Officer of Mantos Copper, where he supported the execution of the merger with Capstone Mining. Chris has 18 years of financial and leadership experience in the mining and renewable energy industries, including as President and CEO of AuRico Metals. He has completed over $22 billion in transactions leading and contributing to M&A efforts at AuRico Gold and Barrick Gold. Chris holds an Master of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Toronto and an Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Waterloo. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
