Stéphane Montel

Stéphane Montel has a diverse background in the animation and visual effects industry. Stéphane co-founded Capsule Studio in 2016, where they serve as the Creative Director and is responsible for crafting unique and creative content for digital worlds. Prior to that, Stéphane worked as a Film Director at Passion Pictures starting in September 2016.

In 2015, Stéphane worked as a Film Director on the Strike Vector CG Trailer. Before that, they gained experience as a VFX/CG supervisor at NKI from December 2010 to April 2016, where they were in charge of creative and technical aspects of visual effects projects. During this time, they supported production on bids and hiring, conducted research and development, and defined methods for projects.

Stéphane also worked as a CG artist at AKAMA STUDIO from November 2007 to November 2010, specializing in mapping, shading, lighting, compositing, and color grading. Stéphane briefly worked as a CG artist at Capa in January 2010 and had earlier experience at Chez Eddy, Digitaline, and La Station Animation as a CG artist.
