Michael Kane

Michael Kane is the current Head of Consumer Product at Capsule. Prior to their current position, Kane held the title of Chief Product Officer at Zeel.com from July 2018 to October 2020. Michael was responsible for the company's wellness offerings, which included in-home massages from vetted and licensed massage therapists.

Before their time at Zeel.com, Kane was the VP of Product at FanDuel Inc. from June 2015 to December 2017. At FanDuel, they were in charge of making sports more exciting for viewers. Under Kane's leadership, the company grew to be the largest one-day fantasy sports provider in the world and was acquired by Paddy Power Betfair for $543M.

From February 2014 to May 2015, Kane served as the VP of Product Growth at Betterment. In this role, they oversaw sophisticated investing strategies for clients with a wide range of investment amounts. When Kane joined the company, it was the largest automated investing service in the world.

Kane began their career at Zynga in July 2009 and held various positions over their four-year tenure there. Michael's final role at Zynga was Sr Director of Product / GM, a position they held from July 2012 to July 2013. In this role, they were responsible for leading the product team and creating and driving the product roadmap. Michael also co-founded a new mobile casino game and developed the initial concept and business case before pitching it to the executive team and receiving funding.

During their time at Zynga, Kane was recognized with five promotions and was the recipient of Atlas Award, an excellence award given out to fewer than 1% of employees.

Michael Kane has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
