David Mar

David Mar is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in software engineering and management across various sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Security for AWS Infrastructure and IT at Capsule since April 2021, Mar focuses on transforming the pharmacy experience through innovative technology. Previously, from January 2018 to December 2020, Mar held multiple senior engineering management roles at Riot Games, including leading the Meta Games Services Initiative. Prior experience includes significant positions at Amazon, where responsibilities encompassed customer experience management for AWS S3 and engineering oversight for distributed systems. Early career roles included senior management at Dell and software engineering positions at IBM and Compaq. David Mar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.
