Captains Courageous grew out of a dream to combine our love of transformational learning and tropical sailing. Since 1989 Captains Courageous offers high-impact sailing adventures throughout the world both for businesses and for individuals.

Participants aboard our sailboats quickly learn what’s at the heart of effective and fulfilling attitudes and actions, and how to bring more heart into play…whether as a corporate executive, a project team member, or an individual wanting more out of life. We call our adventures “Captains Courageous.” Roughly translated from old French, it means “leaders of heart.”

For your business, Captains Courageous sailing adventures develop trust, cooperation and perspective for leaders and teams who are challenged to quickly develop strategy and tactics, communicate openly and clearly, and focus on what matters most. We offer customized 1.5- to 5-day adventures in leadership development and team development, in our home waters near Miami and the Florida Keys, or in another locale of your choosing.

For individuals, our transformative growth experiences expand comfort zones, deepen relationships, enhance communications, and enrich trust and cooperation, all in the context of a tropical sailing adventure. We offer 4- to 14-day adventures in the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and other tropical locations throughout the world.
