Carol Gottschalk

Carol Gottschalk has a diverse work experience in the field of data and analytics. Carol worked as a Director of Data & Analytics at CapTech Ventures, Inc since December 2019. Prior to that, they were a Strategic Solutions Consultant at Impact Makers from July to September 2019.

From December 2018 to June 2019, they played a crucial role as the Director of Global Data Management & Business Intelligence at Owens & Minor. During their tenure, they established the company's first internal Data Management & BI Service organization and led a team of three. Carol also developed blended data analytic and process automation products and maintained relationships with over 20 Dir/VP leaders across all home office business units.

At Capital One, Carol held multiple roles starting in 2011. Carol served as a Bank Marketing Cloud Migration Program Lead from February to December 2018. From September 2015 to December 2018, they worked as a Product Owner, Scrum Master & Solutions Architect. Additionally, they served as a Product Owner of Enterprise Data Services for the Retail Bank from February 2016 to September 2017. In the past, they also worked as a Solutions Architect, Product Owner for Bank Marketing Transformation and a Manager of Bank Marketing Segmentation & Offer Fulfillment Operations.

At Anthem, Inc., Carol worked as a Datawarehouse Consultant from July 2008 to February 2011.

Carol Gottschalk obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Washington University in St. Louis. Carol also has additional certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance obtained in September 2019, and as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in December 2017.
