Darrell Norton

Darrell Norton is currently the Principal of Systems Integration at CapTech. Darrell has over 20 years experience in the IT field, with a focus on web development and project management.

Norton began their career in 1998 as a web developer for SAIC. Darrell developed an environmental training registration and tracking application, as well as a material safety data sheet (MSDS) tracking system. In 2001, they moved to Northrop Grumman, where they served as an architect and developer. Darrell was responsible for the development of ShipRepair.NET, a web-based application that facilitates project management for the servicing of military and commercial ships. Darrell also implemented process improvements that reduced defects by 26 percent using Scrum and XP. In 2003, Norton left Northrop Grumman to join CapTech as a Principal of Systems Integration.

Darrell Norton has an MBA from William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business and a BS in Information Science from Christopher Newport University.
