Mark Schopmeyer

Mark Schopmeyer is the Co-CEO and Co-Founder of CaptivateIQ. Prior to CaptivateIQ, Mark worked as an Investment Professional at Carrick Capital Partners where they gained experience private equity investing in software and technology-enabled services companies. Mark also has software portfolio management experience with Seven Lakes Technologies and Mavenlink, as well as technology-enabled Service portfolio management experience with Axiom Global, Everspring, and Saama.

Before Carrick Capital Partners, Mark was the Finance & Strategy Manager at BrightRoll, which was acquired by Yahoo!. As the finance lead at BrightRoll, Mark created detailed budget proposals and presented them to senior management and the board of directors. Mark also researched and created company performance dashboards, built financial models including financial forecasts, and created unprecedented levels of insights and reporting for the company. In addition, they sourced and implemented enterprise-wide applications, including a budget and contract management system. When they joined BrightRoll, they were the sole finance member supporting 120+ employees; they later scaled the finance operation to support 400+ employees.

Mark Schopmeyer attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
