Jeff Smith

Jeff Smith, AIC, currently serves as the Vice President of Claims Services at Captive Resources, LLC, a position held since 2014. There, they empower companies through a group captive model that enhances insurance control and safety while lowering risk costs. Prior to Captive Resources, Jeff worked as a Senior Claims Consultant at Liberty Mutual Insurance from 2009 to 2014, managing claims and providing risk management guidance. Their career began as a Loan Servicing Team Lead at Citi Residential Lending from 2005 to 2009, where they resolved discrepancies in settlement documents. Jeff holds a BA in Speech Communication and Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in 2003.
