Jacob Boone

Jacob Boone has over 14 years of experience in engineering and operations management, currently serving as the Engineering and Operations Manager at CaptiveAire Systems since February 2015. Prior to this role, Jacob was a Project Engineer at Railroad Friction Products from January 2011 to February 2015, where responsibilities included managing new product development projects and providing customer support. Jacob also worked as an Applications Engineer, offering engineering field service for new product development and collecting quality and performance data. Earlier in their career, Jacob served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Advanced Friction Studies at Southern Illinois University, completing a thesis project on friction testing. Jacob holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
