Dale Broadbent has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. In 1998, they started as a Level Designer at Rewolf Software. From 2005 to 2006, they had Level Design Intern positions at Ritual and Psyonix Studios, where they focused on level design using different game engines. In 2007, Dale worked as an Environment Artist at Icarus Studios, contributing to the creation of the game "Fallen Earth." From 2010 to 2012, they served as a 3D Artist at Gale Force Logic, Inc., followed by an Art Director role at iEntertainment Network from 2012 to 2013. Dale then worked as an IT Support Technician at Netsmart, Inc. in 2014 and Aggie Technologies LLC from 2016 to 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they were an Associate I in Technology Support at CAPTRUST, and then they transitioned to the role of an Associate II, first in Technology Support until 2022 and currently in Governance Risk & Compliance. Their expertise primarily lies in IT support, art and design, and game development.
Dale Broadbent completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Education with a focus on Graphic Communications at North Carolina State University from 2003 to 2006. Dale then pursued an Associates in Art degree at Fullerton Community College from 1999 to 2001. In 2013, Dale participated in the ReachIT Scholarship Program at Central Piedmont Community College. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, including CompTIA A+ ce, CompTIA Network+ ce, and Microsoft certifications such as 98-365: MTA: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals, 98-366: MTA: Networking Fundamentals, and 98-367: MTA: Security Fundamentals. Dale also acquired certifications from LinkedIn, such as Navigating Ambiguity, Tips for Writing Business Emails, Interpersonal Communication, Job Skills: Learning the Basics, and Excel: Macros and VBA for Beginners, mainly in 2022, with the exception of the Microsoft certifications which were obtained in 2013 and 2017.
