Denise Kowitz

Denise Kowitz has a well-rounded work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Denise has been with CAPTRUST since 2015, initially serving as Vice President of Operations and later promoted to the position of Director of Compliance Operations in January 2022.

In addition to their time at CAPTRUST, Denise has also been actively involved with Moravian College since 2008. Denise served as an Adjunct Faculty Member until 2016, teaching courses related to economics and business. Furthermore, they joined the Moravian College Economics & Business Department Business Advisory Council in March 2017 as a Council Member.

Before joining CAPTRUST, Denise held various positions at different companies. Denise worked as the Chief Operating Officer & Chief Compliance Officer at MFP Strategies from 2008 to 2015. Prior to that, they were the Operations Director at Noviello Financial Group, Inc. and the Operations Director / Assistant Agency Manager at AXA Advisors, LLC.

Denise began their career in 1987 at Keystone Financial Management, where they served as the Director of Operations from 2005 to 2007. Before that, they worked as a Senior Financial Advisor at the same company.

Denise Kowitz has a strong education history, beginning with their enrollment at Northampton Community College from 1981 to 1983. During this time, they pursued a degree in General Education and successfully earned an associate degree. Following this, Denise attended East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. Their commitment to education led their to Moravian University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from 1992 to 1997. Finally, Denise returned to Moravian University from 2001 to 2006 to complete their academic journey by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration.
