Matt Thorne

Matt Thorne has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Matt started their career at Frost Bank as a Fixed Income Analyst, where they monitored funds and resolved payment discrepancies. Matt later became the North Texas Liaison, handling trust accounts and asset setup.

Thorne then joined BNY Mellon as a Senior Reconciliation Associate, where they led projects to improve processes and create tools. Matt also served as a Client Service Manager, providing trustee services for bond portfolios and maintaining relationships with issuing companies and bondholders.

After BNY Mellon, Thorne joined South Texas Money Management as a Client Transitions and New Accounts Associate. Later, they became the Vice President & Director of Operations & IT, responsible for overseeing operations and IT functions.

Currently, Thorne works at CAPTRUST as the Manager of Performance Reporting.

Matt Thorne attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2001 to 2005. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a major in Sociology & Political Science.
