Ray White has a diverse work experience. In 2000, Ray started working at PC Customs as the Owner. In 2006, they joined Gregory Poole Equipment Company as a Helpdesk Support Specialist, where they installed and maintained computer hardware, software, and networking equipment. Ray later became a Helpdesk Supervisor, overseeing the support team. In 2014, they joined CAPTRUST as a Helpdesk Support Technician and eventually transitioned into the role of Security Administrator in May 2018.

Ray White has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from North Carolina State University. Additionally, they have a Bachelor's of Science in STS, Computer Information Technology from the same university. Ray also holds additional certifications in Internet History, Technology, and Security from Coursera, obtained in December 2013, and a CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA.
