Sam Suess

Sam Suess has a diverse work experience, starting with a role as a Resident Assistant at Black Hills State University Residence Life from August 2015 to May 2017. They then worked as a Student Technology Fellow at Black Hills State University from August 2017 to May 2018, and also participated in undergraduate economic research during that time. Sam Suess completed a marketing internship at B9Creations, LLC from May 2018 to August 2018. They also worked as a Table Games Dealer at Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort from September 2018 to August 2019.

From September 2019 to April 2020, Sam Suess held a role as an Efile Processor at Avalara. They then transitioned to a Tax Analyst position at Avalara from April 2020 to March 2022, before being promoted to a Senior Tax Analyst from March 2022 to May 2023.

Currently, Sam Suess works as a Senior Associate in Institutional Operations at CAPTRUST since April 2023.

Sam Suess attended Black Hills State University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including "Level Up: SQL," "SQL: Data Reporting and Analysis," and "Excel: Power Query (Get & Transform)," all from LinkedIn. These certifications were obtained in June and July of 2023.
