Sharon Wenzel

Sharon Wenzel has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Sharon began their career in 1990 as a Customer Service Specialist at the Corporation of VG's Food Center and later became a Point of Sale Application Specialist at VG's Food Center. In 2002, they joined Bartech Technical Services and held various roles, including Assistant Manager Database Administrator, Manufacturing Engineering Planner, and Asset Analyst for Delphi.

In 2006, Sharon joined The State Bank as a Network Technician, where they provided help desk support, implemented software upgrades, and maintained hardware. Sharon also worked on maintaining antivirus software, data backups, and taught classes on Excel and Word. After leaving The State Bank in 2009, Sharon briefly worked at TekSystems as a part of a project team.

From 2010 to 2011, Sharon worked at TekSystems for Mott Community College, providing PC helpdesk support and troubleshooting software and hardware issues. Sharon then joined SPI Innovations as a Desktop Support specialist, focusing on resolving help desk tickets and providing end-to-end hardware and software issue resolution.

In 2013, Sharon joined First Merit Bank as a Help Desk Analyst, where they were responsible for resolving IT issues and providing support for over 400 branches. Sharon joined Captrust Financial Advisors in 2015 as an Associate System Administrator and later became a Senior Associate System Administrator, supporting the technology needs of employees.

In 2020, Sharon transitioned to CAPTRUST, where they held the roles of Senior Associate and later Lead in Technology Support and IT Infrastructure. Sharon'swork primarily focused on providing technology support and administration for the company's infrastructure.

Throughout their career, Sharon has developed strong technical skills and expertise in areas such as hardware and software troubleshooting, systems administration, help desk support, and network maintenance. Sharon has demonstrated the ability to adapt to changing technologies and effectively support end-users in a fast-paced environment. Sharon holds a bachelor's degree in open systems technology from Baker College of Flint.

Sharon obtained a Project Management certificate from the Project Management Institute in 2021.

From 2002 to 2005, Sharon attended Baker College of Flint and earned a Bachelor's degree in Open Systems Technology.

Prior to that, Sharon was enrolled at Baker College of Flint from 1997 to 2002, where they completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Networking Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Sharon has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn. In 2022, they completed courses on Developing Your Emotional Intelligence and Improving Your Listening Skills. Sharon also obtained certifications in Leading with Emotional Intelligence and Collaborative Leadership in the same year.
