Seth Shonkoff

Seth B.C. Shonkoff, PhD, MPH, serves as the Executive Director of PSE Healthy Energy, a non-profit organization focused on energy science and policy, emphasizing the public health, environmental, and climate impacts of energy production. In addition to this role, Seth is an Associate Researcher at UC Berkeley School of Public Health and an Affiliate at Berkeley Lab, where research is centered on the intersections of energy, health, and the environment. Previous positions include Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley's Rausser College of Natural Resources, Graduate Student Instructor, Program Associate at Berkeley Air Monitoring Group, Epidemiology and Health Policy Analyst with the San Francisco Department of Public Health, and Environmental Analyst at the San Francisco Estuary Institute. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management and an MPH in Epidemiology from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a BA in Environmental Science from Skidmore College.
