Matt Sokany is a seasoned medical device executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor to Captyn since January 2023, Matt’s career includes notable positions such as President and CEO of Standard Bariatrics, Inc., where innovative surgical solutions were developed, and VP of Sales and Marketing for neoSurgical, where commercialization strategies for novel medical devices were implemented. With a strong background in sales, marketing, and operations within the medical device sector, Matt has also provided consulting services to startups and established companies since 2016. Matt's career began with a solid educational foundation in marketing from Xavier University, and spans over four decades with roles at prominent organizations including KCI, Visible Assets, and Johnson & Johnson.
