Simon Wang

Simon Wang is a Quantitative Research Manager specializing in Financial Institutions at Capvision since May 2022. In this role, Simon partners with clients to tailor research designs and provides expertise in survey methodologies to ensure high-quality data collection. Previous experiences include positions as a Senior Associate and Associate at the University of Virginia, where Simon conducted statistical analyses across various fields under the guidance of Dr. Karen Kafadar. Simon also served as a Research Assistant at Wake Forest University, modeling gene interactions, and completed a Wealth Management internship at China Merchants Securities. Simon holds a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, along with a Computer Science minor, from Wake Forest University.
