Capy Studios is a small, independent animation studio based in Thousand Oaks, California. Our flagship project is Marty's Place, a gentle children's show built around an original character, Marty the Capybara.

Capy Studios was created to carry forward the dream of Ian Wegher-Thompson. Our mission is to create an artistic space where people gather to produce beautiful programming and deliver it to children in a caring, respectful, and non-condescending way.

Today, a growing team of creators has come together to carry Ian's legacy forward, bringing Marty's Place to life through stories rooted in kindness, curiosity, and respect for children.

We are in our earliest stages and our immediate focus is building a community of supporters to help us fund and produce our very first pilot episode.

If this project speaks to you, we invite you to follow our journey, share our story with someone who cares about children's media, and join us as a supporter. Every connection brings us one step closer to making Marty's Place a reality.
