Peter Shawn

Peter Shawn is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and financial services. Since April 2005, Peter has served as a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Tocqueville Asset Management, focusing on the U.S. investment landscape. Additionally, Peter has been a Board Member at CapZone Analytics since January 2022, contributing to tax compliance and ESG reporting for Qualified Opportunity Zone Funds. Prior to these roles, Peter held the position of Managing Director at Lazard from January 1994 to April 2005, where involvement included domestic and international transactions in media and communications, as well as venture capital investments. Earlier in Peter's career, an Associate role at Merrill Lynch from June 1989 to January 1994 involved executing M&A transactions, initially as a generalist and eventually specializing in media and communications.
