Eric Smith is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and research and development. Currently serving as the Chief Technologist for North America at DENSO, Eric leads the R&D organization and has held various significant roles, including Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer for InfiniteKey, where Eric played a pivotal role in pioneering passive Digital Key systems. Eric's prior contributions include leadership positions at companies such as SpinDance, GE Aviation Systems, and Apple, with a strong focus on software development, technical leadership, and strategic planning. An advocate for innovation, Eric has also co-founded and mentored startups, demonstrating a commitment to technology advancement and community engagement throughout a diverse and impactful career. Eric holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Kettering University.
