Mark McCabe

Mark McCabe has extensive experience in the mobile payments and value exchange industries. Mark began their career in 2008 as a Strategic Consultant for Product Development and Experience. In 2010, they Co-Founded meep (Mobile Electronic Exchange Payments), where they lead CITI Bank's conception and development of a digital money, mobile and NFC “wallet” strategy. In 2009, they were a Strategic Consultant for Mobile Payments, Money, Wallet at Astro Studios. In 2011, they Co-Founded IntroMe, where they developed a contextual social connection system. From 2012 to 2015, they held various roles at Western Union, Navdy, Veem (formerly Align Commerce), and Autoney. In 2016, they became the Chief Product / Technology Officer at a New Company in quiet mode. Most recently, they have been the Chief Product / Technology Officer at Car IQ since 2018.

Mark McCabe attended the University of East Anglia from 1989 to 1991, studying Micro Electronics. Mark then went on to Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a BA in Product Design. Finally, they obtained an MA in Computer Interaction from the Royal College of Art from 1995 to 1997.
