Caracta works with boards, owners, and executive teams at moments when performance is solid, yet there is a quiet sense that what has brought success so far may not be enough for what lies ahead.

We bring two questions into one conversation:
• What direction is this organization effectively committing to?
• And is the leadership capable of carrying that direction?

These questions are often addressed separately. We address them together.

We work future-back.

Starting from possible futures, we reason back to what those futures require today. Using strategic imagination deliberately, we surface assumptions, explore alternatives, and make differences in perspective discussable before direction turns into commitment.

This work is grounded in real boardroom experience. It creates space to step out of day-to-day urgency and into disciplined reflection.

Much of our work begins with a Future-Focused Board Review.

A carefully designed, one-day engagement in which boards, executive teams, or both together determine:
• whether their future direction is still fit for what lies ahead
• whether leadership capability is ready for what that direction requires
• and whether it is time to reinforce the current trajectory or design the future more deliberately

Caracta was founded by Fennemiek Gommer and works in close partnership with Anne Mieke Eggenkamp. We typically work as a duo, integrating future direction and leadership capability into one structured conversation.
