Stuart MacDonald serves as the VP of Business Development and Senior Advisor for the Carbios Biodegradation Division in North America, focusing on advancing sustainable, circular plastic solutions through strategic partnerships and market entry. Previously, MacDonald was the Head of Product at Houston Poly, where efforts were centered on scaling compostable film technologies. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Product Development at both 2DegreesCooler and Organix Solutions, with significant achievements such as launching 2DegreesCooler and building a new company from inception. MacDonald has also held leadership positions in operations and underwriting at Lakeside Plastics Ltd. and Northbridge Financial Corporation, respectively. Academic credentials include a Master's in Law from the University of Southampton, a Bachelor's in Maritime Studies from Memorial University, and a Diploma in Marine Navigation Technology from Georgian College.
