Michael Thornton

Michael Thornton has an extensive work experience. Michael began their career in 2005 as a Project Manager - Associate of the Firm at Sherwood Design Engineers. In 2009, they became a Faculty at the Boston Architectural College. In 2010, they joined the Board of Directors and became Managing Director of the Sherwood Institute. Michael also became an Executive Board Member of the Uganda Village Project in 2010. In 2012, they became a Student at the Said Business School. In 2013, they became Co-Founder of Odyssey Sensors, and also became the CEO of Carbon Analytics. In 2014, they became Co-Founder of Terra Recovery.

Michael Thornton obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering & Environmental Sciences / Policy from Duke University between 2001 and 2005. In 2008, they obtained their Professional Engineer certification from the State of California. In 2012, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Michael also holds a LEED AP certification from USGBC.
