James Hall

James Hall has a diverse background in research and development in the fields of carbon capture, solvents, catalysis, and radiochemical synthesis. James has held various roles at Carbon Clean, including Head of Research, R&D Manager, and R&D Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Imperial College London as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, investigating the properties of novel amines for carbon capture and storage, and as a Research Technician, assisting with the redesign and implementation of an undergraduate laboratory teaching course. James also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London, exploring the reactivity of carbon disulphide and mentoring junior colleagues. James completed their PhD at Imperial College London, focusing on the oxidative stability of biodiesel. James is experienced in using analytical techniques such as GC, NMR, IR, GCMS, and ICP elemental analysis.

James Hall has a diverse and extensive education history. James completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from Imperial College London, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate degree in Chemistry with a study in North America at The University of Manchester, studying from 2003 to 2007. During their undergraduate studies, they also had an opportunity to study at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2005 to 2006, although the specific degree obtained at that institution is unknown. Additionally, James Hall obtained a certification as a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry from the Royal Society of Chemistry in March 2021.
