Kip Atchison has a diverse work history. Kip began their career in 2007 as a Caretaker & Aid Assistant at York Manor Nursing Home. In 2009, they became a Counselor at Partners for Youth. In 2011, they worked as a Software Developer at Children's Safety Centers, developing a "Jeopardy" style quiz game to promote child web safety. In 2012, they worked as a Software Developer at Telos Entertainment, developing and co-designing a suite of games and contributing to the development of Facebook games. In 2013, they worked as an E-Learning Developer at the Department of National Defence, developing an online encyclopedia on Military Bridge parts / construction with detailed model interaction. In 2014, they worked as a Software Developer at Ooka Island Inc., creating in-house assembly line tools for Technical Dive Computers. Kip Atchison has a diverse educational background. From 2005 to 2009, they attended Fredericton High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma. From 2009 to 2011, they attended NBCC (New Brunswick Community College) and earned an Electronic Game Design, Programming degree. From 2013 to 2014, they attended NBCC (New Brunswick Community College) and completed Advance Applied Studies. In 2014, they obtained WHIMIS training. In 2015, they obtained Security Clearance Level 2 (Confidential, and Secret) from the Department of National Defence. In 2016, they obtained Open Water Diving from Ocean Quest Dive Center Inc. In 2019, they obtained Cloud Security and Risk Fundamentals from the SANS Institute.
