John Sanden

John Sanden, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. John currently serves as the Director of Strategic Finance & Corporate Operations at Carbon Engineering Ltd. since December 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management (CC&L) from September 2015 to December 2019, where they held the position of Principal and Senior Equity Research Analyst. John'sprevious experience includes working as an Investment Banking Analyst at RBC Capital Markets from July 2013 to August 2015. John also held roles such as Director of Marketing at the National Investment Banking Competition & Conference from May 2012 to January 2013 and Summer Analyst at RBC Capital Markets from May 2012 to August 2012. John Sanden started their career as a Summer Intern at Orbis Investment Advisory in 2011. John also volunteered as an Outreach Volunteer at UBC Agape Street Missions from 2010 to 2011 and served as an Outreach Team Student Leader at Impact Ministries in 2008.

John Sanden, CFA holds a CFA Charterholder degree from the CFA Institute. John also completed their Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia in the year 2012. In addition, they pursued Business Tourism Studies, focusing on International Marketing, Intercultural Management, Product Development, and Innovation at MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Thompson Rivers University in 2010.
