Barbara Davidson

Barbara Davidson's work experience includes various roles in accounting, audit, and climate-related issues. Barbara currently serves as the Head of Accounting, Audit, and Disclosure at Carbon Tracker since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Analyst - Climate and Accountancy at Carbon Tracker from November 2020 to January 2022.

Barbara also has experience as a Freelance Writer at ACCA since February 2019. Additionally, they served as a Committee Member at the Climate Disclosure Standards Board from July 2020 to January 2022, where they were involved in preparing a paper on including climate-related issues in financial reporting.

Furthermore, Barbara worked as an Independent Consultant at the Principles for Responsible Investment from March 2020 to November 2020, focusing on incorporating climate-related risks into audited financial statements. Barbara was also previously employed as a Principal and Head of Investor Engagement at the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation from November 2009 to June 2016.

Before that, Barbara held roles at NOMURA BANK INTERNATIONAL PLC., Morgan Stanley, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC, showcasing their expertise in accounting policy, financial control, global capital markets, and advisory services.

Barbara Davidson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at the Binghamton University School of Management. In 2017, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Environmental Policy and Regulation from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
