Davide Turi is an experienced innovation leader and educator currently serving as the Innovation Lead for Flexibility at E.ON UK, focusing on decarbonising the grid and enhancing customer value in the energy sector. Simultaneously, Davide holds multiple roles at Imperial College London, where responsibilities include Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Director for various venture-building programs, successfully supporting STEM students in launching startups and raising over £90 million in funding. Additionally, Davide serves as a Climate Tech Venture Advisor at Carbon13 and has held positions as Corporate Venture Capital Director at CRU, Founding Partner at Studio Zao, and a variety of roles in startup mentorship and incubation environments. Carbon13 is a climate-emergency venture builder. We are now working to create ~200 ventures that have the capacity to reduce CO2e emissions by 400 million tonnes, or 1% of global emissions. Twenty innovative carbon emissions-mitigating startups have been launched so far by cohort 1 and 2 of Carbon13’s Venture Builder for the Climate Emergency, across sectors such as agriculture, renewable energy and food waste. Cohort 3 will begin their entrepreneurial journey this April.
