Jon Pillow

Jon Pillow is an experienced Research Scientist currently serving as the Head of Research and Innovation at Echion Technologies, specializing in the development of advanced anode materials for lithium-ion batteries. With a proven track record of innovation spanning 30 years, Jon has contributed to diverse high-tech applications and has been involved in the successful launch of 49 patent applications. Previously, Jon co-founded Matnex, where they led impactful projects that advanced materials research while actively managing grant applications that secured over £1M in funding. Jon holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Oxford and has held significant roles at organizations such as Carbon13 and Cambridge Display Technology.
